Thank You, UPPO 2026: Our First Booth, and Why We’re Already Looking Ahead
Every industry has a moment where the right people come together in the right room. For the unclaimed property space, that moment is UPPO.
This year in San Antonio, YottaFlex AI and SafeChief were there for the first time as exhibitors. Walking in as a first-time booth holder, we weren’t sure what to expect. What we found was a community that’s passionate, collaborative, and genuinely invested in solving real problems for real institutions.
The People Behind the Event
Organizing a conference of this scale is no small thing. Coordinating vendors, speakers, sessions, and logistics across an entire industry takes months of behind-the-scenes work that most attendees never see.
The UPPO 2026 organizing committee delivered. From the session programming to the expo floor layout to the small details that made the event feel personal, every piece came together.
A special thank you to Brianne and the rest of the committee for working with us so closely. As first-time exhibitors, we had plenty of questions, and the team was generous with their time and support every step of the way. That kind of responsiveness made a real difference in how we showed up at the event.
What We Took Away
Beyond the booth, the real value of UPPO was in the conversations. We met state representatives, compliance professionals, operations managers, fellow vendors, and partners, all working on different sides of the same set of challenges.
The unclaimed property space sits at the intersection of compliance, operations, and public trust. Banks and credit unions are navigating complex escheatment laws, managing aging safe deposit box inventories, and trying to do right by account holders, often with limited tools and stretched teams.
Hearing those stories firsthand gave us even more conviction that what we’re building with SafeChief matters. It also reminded us that no single company solves these problems alone. The ecosystem at UPPO, the vendors, the state administrators, the financial institutions, exists because this work requires collaboration.
